How to Create Targeted Email Marketing Message

Creating targeted email marketing messages is very important if you want your email marketing messages to convert.

Email marketing is a highly effective form of marketing that can’t be ignored.

They say the money is in the list, and that is true.

But, you’ll need to ensure that your messages are created correctly.

* Simple Is Better – Marketing messages need to be simple and to the point. Don’t make every email marketing message like a sales page. Tell them something important, and then promote something. It’s that easy.

* Chunky Content Is Good – When people read email messages (or anything online) they read from top to bottom before they read from left to right. That’s why it’s important to make bullet points, use a lot of white space, and make the content chunky.

* Make It about Them – Stop saying “I” or “We” in your email marketing messages and instead use a lot of “you” and proper names to talk to the person in your email. You want them to know it’s about them and not about you. You are helping them, not yourself.

* Benefits over Features – When you’re telling your audience about a new product or service, always tell them about the benefits. That’s all they care about. How does it help them and what direct benefits does it provide?

* Create Telling Subject Lines – Don’t use clickbait subject lines. You want the subject line to reflect what your audience will read inside the email, so that they will not ignore your future emails because they feel you’ve tricked them.

* Use Keywords – Even though the email won’t be searched by a search engine, your audience is used to certain words being stated. They will need to read familiar words and some jargon that lets them know you understand them.

* Write Directly to Your Targeted Audience – When you are writing the email messages, it’s important to picture the audience in your mind. Create a client avatar to help you write directly to the right person.

* Have One Goal in Mind – Don’t have too many goals in mind for your audience in one email. Market one new thing to them at a time and have one good goal for each email so you can stay focused.

* Proofread – Always be sure to proofread your messages to check for proper grammar and punctuation. You don’t want anything to distract your readers from your ultimate message.

Work on your marketing messages carefully if you want to see a good return on your investment. Having high converting email marketing messages will make all the difference in your business.

Are You in a Debt Spiral?

A debt spiral is pretty much like a bad nightmare where you’re falling into nothingness and can’t get yourself out of it.

Many people go through debt spirals in their lifetime because of unforeseen expenses, loss of a job or medical crisis.

Sometimes it’s by no fault of your own that the debt spiral occurs, and other times it’s because spending habits were out of control.

Whatever the reason you find yourself in a debt spiral, it’s time to spend less, make more money – or both.

It is still a very stressful situation to find yourself in because people are creatures of habit and it’s not so easy to suddenly change your spending habits or necessarily find a way to suddenly make money.

It may take a while to unravel the tangled mess you find yourself in, but you’re sure to learn more about how to better manage your money and a little bit about yourself, too.

The first thing to do if you find yourself deep in debt is to assess your damage.

How much do you owe, to whom do you owe it and what interest rates are you paying?

You should assess everything in your litany of debts, but especially focus on consumer debts such as credit cards.

Find the root cause of your financial problems. That can only be done by tracking your spending. You’ll then begin to understand the weak spots of your spending habits and be able to focus on areas where you can cut back.

Most debit and credit card expenditures are easy to track – or you can do it the old way, by saving and adding up receipts. After you know where your money is going you can include the entire family in your plan to cut back.

Don’t cut out everything that the family enjoys, but do include them in the effort to trim some of the fat from your spending habits.

If you need more help than a budget plan to cut back on expenses, consider a consolidation loan to reduce your multiple payments to one and to stop the high interest rate you may be experiencing on credit cards.

Being unable to make payments to creditors on time can ruin your credit standing and even lead to harsher measures such as bankruptcy. One signal that you’re in a debt spiral is that you can’t afford to pay your credit cards in full each month.

You keep using your credit cards to purchase necessities such as food and medicine and the creditors add an exorbitant amount of interest to the balance each month.

You may even borrow to pay bills – a sure sign you need to sit down and carefully assess your spending and what got you in this predicament in the first place.

Don’t assume that the road will be smooth after you get yourself out of the debt spiral.

You have to get to the root of the problem and take steps to keep you from ever having this problem again.

Former Splash Wizard Review: See Brand A Splash Update Below

UPDATE 5-26-20: I have been using a simple alternative to Splash Wizard for a while now called BRAND A SPLASH. I certainly don’t love it the way I did Splash Wizard, but it’s very inexpensive and easy to use.

It’s also very limited in scope. You can only make a personally branded splash page with it, but for the extremely affordable price though, it’s a nifty resource.

You can basically create a personally branded splash page that you can use to promote any program you want, while building your brand. They even have a promotional rotator that’s available to Gold Members.

Again, it’s extremely easy to use and does not require design skills, hosting or a domain name. It’s just a low one-time membership fee with no ongoing monthly service costs.

I really love the simplicity. You can edit your splash page anytime you want and you can even change whatever offer you are promoting anytime you want as well. Brand A Splash uses a very simple interface and any changes you make are instant.

You can change the template anytime you want by simply choosing the URL that matches one of 20 templates. 3 of the templates are actually Holiday themes.

You don’t have to redo your splash page in order to switch templates…just choose a different URL.

You can actually promote your offer using all 20 template URL’s. So, that is a neat feature. This makes it easy to test what template works best for your needs and your audience.

There is also a nice little affiliate program that is offered and completely optional.  It pays out 50% commissions. Most people are interested in promoting their own brand and offers, but the affiliate program is also available to use, if you choose.

As you can see, I left the review below for Splash Wizard in place because people do still search for that product and as a result find this review. This allows me to let them know that Splash Wizard is no longer available and also that Brand A Splash is a viable resource.

I actually signed up as a Brand A Splash Gold Member quite a while ago, but I just never updated this post until now. It’s definitely a useful resource and very affordable.

Just FYI: I’m both a customer and an affiliate of the resource in this post (see my Affiliate Disclosure)

[UPDATE 12-30-18: Due to circumstances out of the owner of Splash Wizard’s control, the site will be shut down. This is very sad for both the owner, who is a really upstanding person, and for those of us who really loved Splash Wizard. I have disabled the links and examples of the splash pages in this post.]

This is my review of Splash Wizard, which is an easy splash page builder. You can also create capture pages and thank-you pages. More on this further below. I use Splash Wizard myself and have a Lifetime membership – because that’s how much I really like the product.
