Here is Days 21-30 of the 30 Day Affiliate Marketing Blueprint to help you manage the various tasks that it takes to become an affiliate marketer.
These tasks will help you build a successful and profitable online affiliate marketing business.
🗓 Day 21: Create Graphics to Accompany Your Reviews
People are visual creatures and are drawn to images and so it’s important to include images in your content.
There are tools you can use, such as Photoshop or Canva, where you can create images that help accompany your review or represent it on social media.
For example, on Canva, you can create Pinterest Pins, images for Instagram Stories, blog posts, Facebook images, video thumbnails and more.
🗓 Day 22: Publish Your Review with SEO and Skimming in Mind
Not everyone will want to read a lengthy, full review.
They may just want to see the gist of what you have to say.
Regardless, you need to make sure your post allows for ease of absorption, such as skimming the bold subheadings or perusing the bullet points.
Use images to break up large swaths of text because it will make it more visually appealing.
Don’t have more than 1-3 sentences per paragraph.
In fact, even single sentences per line work great online to add extra white space between content and make it easier to read.
Remember, on mobile versions…just one sentence looks like a whole paragraph.
Reading online is not the same as reading a print book and people need more white space for their eyes and ease of reading.
Make sure you’re using SEO-appropriate measures such as categorizing and tagging your review posts.
Be sure to use tags for images as well, via the Alt Text.
Also, having a Table of Contents at the top of the review can really help.
You can also convert your written content into a video or even a podcast and embed these within your reviews or link to them.
This will give your visitors other format options, instead of reading a post.
🗓 Day 23: Share Your Reviews on the Right Socials
When your review is published and live, you want to create a short blurb that gets people to click through to it, and grab the link to share with it on social media sites.
You want to know where your audience hangs out.
It may or may not be on Facebook and so you may need to share it on Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter instead.
Make sure you look to see if there’s a substantial audience base there before you take time to generate traffic to your reviews from a site.
🗓 Day 24: Use Audio to Generate Traffic to Your Review
Many affiliates fail to grasp the power that audio has in driving traffic to their blog.
You can use show notes on podcast episodes to link out to your product reviews or lead magnet page.
There are many platforms where you can create a free podcast, and no special equipment is needed.
You can then share links to your podcast on various social media sites, too.
🗓 Day 25: Use YouTube and TikTok Videos for Review Traffic
Whether you embed videos into your product review blog or just leave it where it is, using video is a smart move as an affiliate marketer.
Some affiliates take the text version of their product review and use it as a script for a video presentation.
If you use TikTok, you can have a link in your bio to your lead magnet page and build a list of interested buyers based on video snippets of anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes.
🗓 Day 26: Email Your List
You need to get in the habit of notifying your subscribers whenever a new product review is ready on your blog.
Don’t expect them to find it on their own.
Email them a value-based broadcast discussing a problem they may be experiencing, personalize it with your own story, and then let them know you created a post showing them how to fix it.
Then share the link to your review post.
🗓 Day 27: Create a Bonus for an Upcoming Review
Bonuses work especially well for digital information product sales, but you can even use them for tangible product sales.
For instance, such as a gamer guide that you give to the people as a gift, who purchase video games through your link or an anti-aging guide for those who buy anti-aging products through your link.
First, look at something you can review with plenty of time between now and its launch to create the bonus offering.
It can be a short bonus, such as a 5-page report, or it can be larger if you want it to be.
Just make sure that when you create a bonus, it complements the original product nicely.
For example, if you’re reviewing a keto diet program, you might give a bonus of keto diet hacks or a recipe book of desserts that are keto-friendly.
🗓 Day 28: Start Setting Yourself Up for Affiliate Perks
When reviewing digital products, many vendors will offer perks to top performing affiliates.
Some don’t even ask for stats; they simply set you up for perks if you ask.
One might be an advanced review copy.
This allows you to go more in-depth with your review.
Other perks might be a bump in commission or a spot on their download page where you can post a banner ad that leads to your lead magnet page.
Not all companies offer extra perks or free review copies, but it doesn’t hurt to check.
🗓 Day 29: Commit to a Consistent Affiliate Routine
Becoming a successful affiliate marketer means being consistent with your publishing and sharing.
One thing that may help is for you to create a routine whenever you sit down to knock out a review post.
Start with research, then write it, create your graphics, publish it and share it on social media, then in an email.
If you want to create a video or audio podcast to go along with it, then go ahead and knock that out as well.
If you want to take it one step further, create a publishing schedule (you can find plugins for WordPress that help with this) to keep you on track so your website doesn’t grow stale.
🗓 Day 30: Start a Spreadsheet of Reviews
Not only do you want to have a list of upcoming reviews that you plan on doing, but you want to be able to quickly (at a glance) look back to see what reviews you’ve already done so that nothing gets repeated.
A spreadsheet will allow you to organize your reviews according to brand or vendor, price point, features and more.
Then you can sort them.
It can even help you take existing products you’ve already reviewed and create new slants, such as a top 5 list of products, etc.
You can even refresh these types of list posts yearly as new products and services emerge in the marketplace.

My Online Journey
You don’t know me.
I’m not some flashy internet marketing “guru” with my name and face all over the internet.
I’m just an ordinary person that had to figure out a way to make money online when I lost my job in 2008, due to health issues.
In the offline world, I gained several years experience in Customer Service, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and various other clerical type positions.
Much of it was drudgery, especially working in call centers.
I was good at my various jobs, but I did not enjoy being hostage to a cubicle and headset..lol 🙂
But, you do what soul sucking jobs you have to do, in order to make money to pay the bills.
As a free spirit, I always had the deep desire to break free from the cubicle-zombie-robot rat race world and have full control over my time, income and life, without having to have permission from a boss.
I was tired of being just another “number” that was expendable, no matter how dependable I was or how hard I worked (just to help build someone else’s wealth and make their dreams come true).
I wanted to create MY freedom…not just build it for someone else.
Unexpectedly in 2008, severe neck issues forced me out of the 9 to 5 corporate world rat race (before I was actually ready financially, which really sucked a lot and was pretty scary).
My neck issues got worse after years of being trapped at a computer, with little to no permission to get up and move around and stretch.
This is not good when you are suffering from old car accident injuries.
This was especially the case in call center jobs with low cubicle walls. They didn’t want you standing up, due to the noise while on calls.
And although losing my job and the paycheck was a less than pleasant experience, my goal was to be an online entrepreneur anyway.
But, I was forced to make it happen at that point…which was not ideal.
Wasted Time Dabbling
It’s better to have a 2nd income already coming in regularly before losing your main source of income, but I had no control over what happened.
I had already been “dabbling” in internet marketing, on the side, since 2004…basically wasting time.
I treated it as a hobby, instead of an online business.
I actually made a little bit of money with affiliate commissions and some advertising revenue, but it was nothing to write home about because I did not build it up.
If I had realized that my health was going to go sideways so badly in 2008, then I would’ve taken my online business “side gig” much more seriously.
I would’ve hustled, even while still working a full-time job, because 4 years would’ve been more than enough time to have built that online business into a full-time income.
Just an extra 1 hour per day consistently over that 4 year period…would have made all the difference.
So, after I lost my job in 2008, I was in a real bind for more than one reason.
I needed to get serious and stop dabbling and start hustling to make money online, but it takes time to build an online business that brings in consistent income.
I was out of time. My household went from two incomes to one and I needed to get moving.
The problem was my severe neck issues and the accompanying dizziness from nerve damage in my C1 Vertebrae, the Atlas.
So, this meant that I couldn’t exactly hustle like I needed to because being on a computer for hours each day at home is no different than doing it at a job.
I was no longer able to do this, if I wanted to not end up completely disabled or bed-ridden.
The years 2008-2011 were extremely tough in trying to heal, but with proper therapy, the worst of it got better, but it’s not 100%.
Even now in 2022, I still can only be on a computer so much each day, without causing flare-ups.
So again, if I had taken it all more seriously, then I wouldn’t have ended up with so many financial worries, when I lost my job.
I would’ve had something more substantial to fall back on during times that were difficult money-wise and health-wise.
Then, add in beating my head against the wall, jumping from one “program” to another and basically flushing more time and money down the toilet.
Losing my job made me act in desperation because I wanted to make something happen right now.
So, I ended up doing what a lot of people do, which is looking for a shortcut and something “quick” or “push button”…which is not realistic because it doesn’t really exist.
Then in 2012, I joined Wealthy Affiliate because it had the tools and resources I needed all in one place, to help me build an online business.
Fast forward to 2020, I joined The Home Business Academy to add even more great tools and resources to my online business arsenal.
I now use both of these resources to build my online business.

I enjoy making money online because I can work from anywhere and on my own schedule, while still being able to take care of my health.
You Can Do It Too
So, why do I tell you all of this?
I share all of this with you, so you’ll know it’s possible to make money online and have total freedom from the 9-5 grind.
It takes time to build an online business, but it’s worth it to build either a side-income to supplement your full-time job or replace your job.
If you have found yourself in a similar situation to me or you simply want to get ahead of things and plan for the future, your goal going forward should be to not waste any more time.
Whether you love your job or hate your job, it’s always a good idea to have a Plan B to supplement your income or replace your income.
You never know what can happen with your job or even with your health.
Don’t waste time, like I did.
Just get started and keep going.
Do not dabble.
Take action now.
And most importantly, believe in yourself.
