If you’re an introvert who’s wanting to delve into online business, you may be wondering can introverts be successful? YES, introverts can be successful.
I see it all the time.
Introvert success is more than possible, especially in the affiliate marketing business model.
Becoming an online entrepreneur is a great choice if you’re more introverted because you can work from home or anywhere you’d like.
There are only so many ideal jobs for introverts.
In fact, from my experience in the corporate world, even you you have a quiet, clerical cubicle job…you are still going to have to interact more than you realize in the workplace.
You still have to speak to clients, customers, co-workers, supervisors, managers, go to meetings, team functions, office lunches, etc.
Even online jobs for introverts are not really ideal. Most remote online jobs are customer service related.
So, you are going to be on the phone all the time and on video chat interacting with your supervisor, team, etc.
Just like if you were in an actual call center.
So, working for yourself doing affiliate marketing is actually a great option.
This is because with affiliate marketing, you can build a website and refer your readers to whatever products or services you recommend, without having to be all up in their face.
You don’t need to spend all day on social media, trying to “build relationships”.
If your content on your website is something interesting that people want to read, they will come and go anonymously, just as you are free to write your content anonymously.
There is nothing wrong with this.
Yes, some people in online business put their name, face and entire life out there for the entire internet to see and there is nothing wrong with that either.
They are branding themselves.
That is something that extroverts are very comfortable with and they will attract the right audience for themselves.
Either way is okay and both introverts and extroverts can be successful.
You will get visitors everyday who read your content and click on the links you provide them for the things that you recommend that can help them.
This does not take any personal one-on-one to accomplish this.
I see many internet marketing “gurus” insisting that the ONLY way to be successful and make money online is to build one-on-one relationships with people.
This can be very true, but I find it to be more the case when you are trying to build a team in an MLM or network marketing company or something like that.
Affiliate marketing does not require team building or building relationships.
So, if you are like me and prefer to keep to themselves and prefer to express yourself through content creation, then just know that affiliate marketing is a business model that you CAN be very successful in.
Don’t let anyone discourage you, just because you don’t do things exactly like them.
If others want to spend all day “prospecting” on FakeBook and it works for them, then that is great, but it’s not necessary for you to follow the same path in order to make money online.
Both introverts and extroverts can be successful at affiliate marketing.
If you are an extrovert, you will probably do even better in all the various online business models because you will naturally reach out to more people on a personal level.
The more eyeballs you get on you affiliate offers, the better.
We all live very different lives from one another and often we lead very busy lives, so pick the online business model that fits best with your personality and the amount of time that you have to spend online.
I prefer affiliate marketing.
Plus, I only have limited time per day to be on the computer working, due to neck issues…so there’s that. I just don’t have time for networking.
My mentor and friend is very good at all of these different business models actually, but the business models that require relationship building (their MLM) takes a HUGE amount of their time to do.
Whereas, their affiliate marketing brings in money without talking to anyone.
They enjoy both.
I suspect they are both an introvert and an extrovert, kind of like a hybrid…lol.
I on the other hand absolutely cannot stand the MLM and network marketing business models.
They just don’t fit my personality.
If I’m going to spend time building relationships with people, it’s going to be because I want them in my personal life.
I don’t want to build relationships just so that I can make money.
I have made a few friends online over the years in my online business travels, but I don’t make any money from being friends with them.
The key is doing what makes YOU happy and fulfilled.
That will help draw the success to you because you will be having fun and you will attract success.
You likely won’t be successful, in the long-term doing things you hate or feel is complete drudgery.
Stay true to yourself and what you need and the rest will come.

Resources for Online Success
As a free spirit, I always had the deep desire to break free from the cubicle-zombie-robot world and have full control over my time, income and life, without having to have permission from a boss.
I was tired of being just another “number” that was expendable, no matter how dependable I was or how hard I worked (just to help build someone else’s wealth and make their dreams come true).
I wanted to create MY freedom…not build it for someone else.
Unexpectedly in 2008, severe neck issues forced me out of the 9 to 5 corporate world rat race (before I was actually ready financially, which really sucked a lot and was pretty scary).
It’s better to have a 2nd income already rolling and coming in regularly before losing your main source of income, but I had no control over what happened.
After spending years trying to figure out how to make money online (all on my own) and only being able to make a few dollars here and there…I started using some great resources that made it all easier.
I now use these resources to increase my income daily.
I enjoy earning recurring monthly income using the affiliate marketing business model because I can work from anywhere and on my own schedule, while being able to take care of my health.
I share this with you so you will know it is possible to make money online and have total freedom from the 9-5 grind.
